Alumni Association Membership

As an alumnus/alumna of Saint Joseph's College of Maine, you are automatically a member of the College Alumni Association. As a member you are invited to alumni events and to participate as an alumni volunteer, and you can receive the benefits listed on this page.

Alumni Definitions

Alumnus - one male graduate
Alumna - one female graduate
Alumni - group made up of more than one male graduate, or a group containing both male and female graduates
Alumnae - group made up of more than one female graduate

Be An Alumni Volunteer!

Here are some ways to volunteer at Saint Joseph's College:

1. Alumni Association – Guide the decisions and future of the Alumni Association.

2. Class Representative – Communicate with your class about campus events, help plan your Reunion Weekend, and update the community on your class notes.

Alumni Magazine Subscription

All alumni receive a free subscription to the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Magazine, published three times a year and delivered by mail.

Alumni Library Privileges

All alumni are welcome to borrow books and non-print material from the library on campus and are required to check books out in person and return books during regular business hours to the circulation desk.

Alumnus/alumna must present his/her Saint Joseph's College Alumni ID at time of check out. To obtain a Saint Joseph's College alumni ID, please complete this form and send it to the Alumni Office in Xavier Hall or email to alumni@sjcme.edu.

All regular return rules apply to alumni - only circulating items can be checked out; books can be checked out for 21 days, non-print materials such as movies and CDs can be checked out for 7. A maximum of 5 items can be checked out at a time. Due dates are stamped on all materials borrowed. All patrons are responsible for knowing due dates and returning items by the designated time.

Materials may be renewed one time if there is not a hold on the item, or if charges on the alumni ID have reached $3.00 or more.

Alumni Gym Membership

All alumni are eligible to become members of the campus gymnasium and fitness facilities at the Harold Alfond Center. To apply, print this PDF application and mail to:

Alumni Facilities Rentals

All alumni are encouraged to rent the facilities on campus for special events. Rooms available are the student lounge and alumni lounge in the Harold Alfond Center, the lounge in Xavier Hall, Alfond Center pool rentals for splash parties and more!

Alumni Fee Waiver for Continued Education

The Saint Joseph's College Online program will waive the $50 application fee for College graduates applying for enrollment.
