New Addition - Laura (Davis) Drown '99

Ty & Laura Drown welcomed their first child, Lyla James Drown on September 3, 2011.  She was born at Maine Medical Center at 6:11am, weighing in at 6 lbs. 14 ozs. and she was 19.75" long.  The couple reside in Arundel, Maine.

New Position - Shakira La Fond '11

Shakira has accepted the position of Director of Alumni Relations at her high school alma mater, St. Joseph High School in Brooklyn, New York.

Condolences to Reis Hagerman, Cathy Hagerman, Lauren Hagerman, Molly Findlay Hagerman, and family

The college offers condolences to Reis Hagerman '79, his wife Cathy Hevey Hagerman '79, their daughter Lauren Hagerman '10 and their family on the passing of son Timothy Hagerman on Dec. 26.

The college also offers condolences to Tim's wife, Molly Findlay Hagerman '08 on the loss of her husband.

Nancy Kashla '75, Academic News

Nancy Kashlak '75 is currently a student in the doctor of nursing practice program at the University of Virginia, and was inducted into their Golf Key International Honor Society chapter in October. She is also an instructor and course coordinator for child health nursing at the Pennsylvania State University School of Nursing in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
