Heather Aceto ’13

Heather Aceto ’13 of Gray, Maine, got engaged to Justin Theriault on August 10, 2014, and was promoted to Human Resource Coordinator at Dingley Press, Inc.

Connie Noble ’14

Connie Noble ’14 will add “published author” to her resume when the September/October issue of Radiologic Technology rolls out this month. Noble’s article, “Service Quality in Mammography,” is an edited selection from the senior research paper she completed in culmination of her online BSRSA degree from Saint Joseph’s College.

Barbara George Plungis ’84

A health care administration professor and ’84, ’97 alumna of the College, Barbara Plungis of Watertown, Connecticut, recently said farewell to her “home away from home” after 14 years of teaching online and distance learning courses. Beloved by her students, Plungis had a reputation for her compassionate and motivating instructing style. As a two-time graduate, receiving both her BA and a master’s degree in health care services administration (MHSA) from Saint Joseph’s, Plungis was able to inspire her students through her own story.

Pat Carey ’74 & Andrea Wagner Carey ’71

Pat Carey ’74 and Andrea Wagner Carey ’71 of Kennebunk, Maine, recently celebrated their son Matt’s accomplishment of playing for Scotland in the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship held in Denver, Colorado. Matt was eligible to play for Scotland because he was born there while Pat and Andrea were living in the country during the ’80s.

 

Jonathan Mulcahy ’05 & Sarah Bouchard Mulcahy ’07

Jonathan Mulcahy ’05 and Sarah Bouchard Mulcahy ’07 of Baring Plantation, Maine, were married on July 9, 2011. They welcomed the birth of their first child, Olivia Denise Mulcahy, on July 2, 2014. Olivia was born at Calais Regional Hospital in Calais. She weighed in at 5 lbs, 11.3 oz and was 19 inches long.
